This past July, the International Society for Environmental Ethics (ISEE) selected Dr. Eugene Chislenko, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Temple, as the 2025 winner of the Andrew Light Award. 

Since 2017, the Andrew Light Award has recognized philosophers working to broaden the reach of environmental philosophy through published work or engagement in environmental issues of public importance.
