Undergraduate Admissions for International Students

Temple University’s College of Liberal Arts is located in Philadelphia, the birthplace of the United States of America. We're proud to welcome international students from across the globe! #YouAreWelcomeHere.

Here’s how you can join us.

Applying for Admission

If you’re an international student, head to Temple University’s International Admissions page

There, you’ll find information on how to apply to Temple University via the Common Application, including a full breakdown of important dates for applying, application criteria, scholarship details and the contact information for Temple International Admissions staff.

Once Temple receives your Common Application, you’ll receive a TUportal account activation email. You’ll use the portal to review your admissions checklist and follow the status of your application.

For more information on Temple University’s international student resources, please visit Temple's International Student and Scholar Services site.

Temple Rome Entry Year Program

If you want to start learning at an American university right now but aren’t ready or aren’t able to come to the U.S. right away, the Temple Rome Entry Year Program is the path for you. International students can spend their first year at Temple studying at our Rome campus before completing their education at our Main Campus in Philadelphia in subsequent years.
