This month, philosophy PhD student Hans Shenk received the 2026 Sanders Graduate Student Award. The award is presented annually to the top three papers submitted to the American Philosophical Association (APA) Eastern Division.
Shenk’s entry, titled “Revisiting Hornsby and Stanley: In Defense of Productive Practical Knowledge,” earned him a $1,000 prize, as well as additional travel funds to receive his award at the 2026 APA Eastern Division Meeting in Baltimore, MD.
