On February 2nd, College of Liberal Arts students from the Criminal Justice, English, History, Political Science, Psychology and Neuroscience and Sociology departments gathered in Northeast Philadelphia for a half-day workshop at one of the regional offices of the PA Attorney General.

Students had the opportunity to hear presentations from and network with various attorneys, special agents and police officers in Pennsylvania's top law enforcement office.

Some of the speakers that presented were from the offices of the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency), ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms, and local police forces. Supervisor Agent Bob Weber and his K-9 dog Mizu, gave a fun and interactive presentation and police officers from West Chester University and Radnor Police Department, gave drone presentations in which students could interact with and see the technology behind using this tactic. Special Agent Siddiq Kamars spoke one-on-one with students, and they also had the opportunity to hear from lawyers with the Attorney General's office.

Students were engaged and curious and enjoyed the experience of learning from so many different arms of the law!
