Chloe M. Sierka is a PhD student from the Philadelphia area who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple in 2014 with a B.A. in Psychology. She also completed her M.A. studies at Temple in 2023. She completed her undergraduate studies with work as a research associate under Dr. Joseph Steinberg comparing outcomes of adolescents processed differently through the criminal justice system. Chloe also worked as an undergraduate research assistant under Dr. Jacob Tebes, through Yale University, studying the impact of the Mural Arts Program on both a community and individual level.
After graduation, Chloe spent time with the Treatment Research Institute, now a part of Public Health Management Corporation, primarily researching various at-risk populations in Philadelphia's drug courts on topics including sexual health, medically-assisted treatment, and informed consent.
Chloe's primary interests, developed over her wide array of research experiences, are juvenile justice, the impact of mental health and substance use within the criminal legal system, extremism, and comparative methods.
Chloe focuses her creative energy as a choreographer for musical theater in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs.
