Navigating graduate school can seem like a challenge. To make it easier for incoming Master of Public Policy students, four current students in the program are offering up some quick tips for getting acclimated and making the most of the program.
In 2020, College of Liberal Arts students nearly doubled our previous record for Fulbright U.S. Student Program winners, with 15 of our students becoming Fulbrighters. We couldn’t be prouder of our winners, who showcase the incredible diversity and global citizenship of the CLA community.

Political Science Associate Professor Roselyn Hsueh will conduct field research for a forthcoming book in India, Russia and Mexico over two years thanks to her winning the most competitive award bestowed by Fulbright.
Casey Genett, CLA ’20, didn’t want to compromise with her internship. She wanted to work for a nonprofit, do something with children and gain media experience. But could she really do all three at once? You bet she could.
Hiram Aldarondo, a College of Liberal Arts faculty member and administrator for the past 22 years, has been promoted to senior associate dean for academic affairs in the Office of the Dean.
