From world diplomacy to healthcare to the environment, our students and faculty take a holistic approach to better understanding the entirety of the political machine so they can help guide policy and move the country and the world forward.

The College of Liberal Arts’ Student Ambassador Program, in conjunction with the college’s Enrollment office, recently held a book drive for North Philadelphia kids at Tree House Books. Thanks to the generosity of students and their friends and family, the drive far surpassed its donation goal.

The Political Science Department’s 2019 Featherman Lecture welcomed. Jennifer Lawless to campus to speak with students about women running for political office. The former congressional candidate and University of Virginia professor explained that more women don’t run because of a perception gap.

College of Liberal Arts students Francesca Capozzi and Kaya Jones have taken office as two of the three members of the first-ever all-female Temple Student Government executive leadership team.
