Spoken as a first language by 295 million people in 57 different countries, Arabic is second only to English usage by country and is the world’s fourth-most-spoken language. The Temple University College of Liberal Arts minor in Arabic focuses on the language while also exploring the regions where it is spoken. Temple students and faculty who’ve chosen Arabic as a minor have dedicated themselves to learning more about these crucial parts of the world and how their people communicate.
