The Public Policy Lab (PPL) is pleased to announce its cohort of fellows for the 2020-2021 academic year. PPL Fellows will develop their policy-oriented research projects in an interdisciplinary community of scholars. PPL solicited applicants for three different fellowships and received numerous submissions from across CLA.
"The applications for our second year of fellowships were exceptional. We are looking forward to another year of developing the exciting policy work being conducted in the college," PPL director Judith Levine said.
The Public Policy Lab's 2020-2021 Fellows include:

- Michael Sances
- Bryant Simon
- Eva Weiss
- Celeste Winston
In its second year of existence at the college, PPL is an intellectual home for researchers who study public policies and the social processes relevant to their development and consequences. Receiving various forms of financial, material, and research support, Fellows will participate in a series of PPL workshops and will present their work publicly for the university community. PPL Fellows will also receive support in disseminating their research to local, state, and national stakeholders including lawmakers, the media, and the public.
PPL is currently inviting applicants for its 2021-2022 Fellowships.
PPL supports several fellowship programs aimed at supporting both faculty and graduate student researchers working on policy-oriented projects.
PPL offers three different fellowships:
- Faculty Fellowships for tenured/tenure-track faculty,
- Research Team Fellowships which pair a faculty member with a graduate research assistant
- Graduate Fellowships for advanced Ph.D. students in the college
