Md Nafis Khan is a Ph.D. student in Applied Economics at Temple University. His research interests lie in macroeconomics and financial markets, with a focus on how financial institutions and market structures shape economic outcomes. Before beginning his doctoral studies, he worked for four years in the financial sector in Bangladesh, most recently as a manager in corporate banking where he specialized in industry modeling, portfolio management, and trade finance. He has also contributed to government and private research projects in areas such as financial inclusion and development policy. Nafis earned both his B.S.S. and M.S.S. in Economics from Bangladesh University of Professionals, graduating with top honors.
