Biography
Dr. Maggie Albright-Pierce earned her Master's degree in Health Psychology in 2017 from Central Connecticut State University and her Ph.D. in Social Psychology with an emphasis in Health Psychology from Rutgers University in 2025. Her mixed methods research explores the intersectionality of social and health psychology, centering on the self-regulatory strategies people use to handle stress or threat and promote health and wellness. Dr. Albright-Pierce is passionate about teaching. mentorship, and learning, being the recipient of multiple teaching awards, including the 2024 Wilbert J. McKeachie Teaching Award from the Society for the Teaching of Psychology.
