I am a first-year PhD Student in the Africology and African American program, focusing on African history. I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Temple University. My work examines Ancient African music and dance through modern times. How these forms of art contribute to the academic and critical understanding of African culture. How they contribute to the intersection of African American and African Diaspora studies.
