My research engages three big things: air pollution, climate change and health. I have focused on spatio-temporal intra-urban variability of ambient air pollution and its impacts on human health in Colombia. One area of particular interest for me is the implications of transboundary flows of air pollutants, with a special emphasis on the influence of wildfires in North South-America on air quality related to particulate matter in Medellin, Colombia. Additionally, I am interest about exploring the synergistic relationship between air pollution and climate change and how this interplay influences public health.
