Han Le is a doctoral student and University Fellow in the Department of Sociology. She joined Temple University after obtaining her Master in Public Policy (MPP) from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (with high distinction) majoring in Sociology and minoring in Economics, Global Studies, and Human Rights & Humanitarian Affairs. She is interested in studying the intersection of migration and health, specifically how different generations of migrants in the U.S. navigate structural-cultural influences from their country of origin and host country that affect their health outcomes. She is also broadly interested in topics in medical sociology, the sociology of health, and social psychology.
