Christopher Viscuso's has focused on the intersection of Comparative Black Literature, Trauma Theory, Pedagogy, and the construction of identity. He has taught courses in Africana Studies and African American History for Rowan College at Burlington County, Rowan University, and Valdosta State University since earning his Master of Arts degree in Africology and African American Studies in 2018. He has contributed articles to the upcoming African-American Activism and Political Engagement: An Encyclopedia of Empowerment and has developed an annotated reading list for RCBC's state-funded DEI initiative to be made available through the college website Summer 2023.
