Katie Schroeder is a Visiting Instructor of Spanish at Haverford College and a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Spanish Linguistics at Temple University. She holds a B.A. in Spanish from Roanoke College and an M.S. in Spanish and Portuguese Literature and Cultural Studies from Georgetown University. Her research focuses on Concept-Based Language Instruction (CBLI) in mixed-learner Spanish courses, focusing on how instructional design can support both heritage and second-language learners.
