Biography
James M. DeLise is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Intellectual Heritage Program and Political Science Department. He received his Ph.D. in political science from Temple University in 2014. His research focuses on the intersection of constitutional/public law, political theory, and American politics, and he is currently working on a monograph that addresses the history and politics of religious exemptions in the United States. His work has been published in Columbia Journal of Race and Law, Journal of Church and State, NYU Journal of Law and Liberty, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Rutgers Race and the Law Review, and Salon.
