Biography

Nicolaos Catsis received his BA (2007), MA (2009), and Phd (2014) in Political Science from Temple University. His dissertation focused on the impact of colonial administrations on post-independence policy preferences in Southeast Asia. His research since has focused on Japan's changing security role in the Pacific, as well as the use of developmental aid as a strategic tool in Southeast Asia.
