Declan Gould received her Ph.D. in English from SUNY Buffalo. Her research interests include disability writing, avant-garde literature, intersectionality, accessibility, and the history of disability representation. Her current project focuses on formal innovations in 20th and 21st century disability poetry. Her writing appears or is forthcoming in The Cambridge Companion to 21st Century American Poetry, Amodern, The Journal of Literary and Cultural Disability Studies, Denver Quarterly, Full Stop, The Conversant, Jacket2, and Laura Hershey: On the Life & Work of an American Master. Declan has taught classes in science writing, composition, creative writing, medicine and literature, and disability studies.
