Biography

Alessandra is a native of Milan, Italy, and holds two master's degrees from IULM University in Milan. She has a background in international corporate and financial communications. Prior to joining Temple, Alessandra taught undergraduate Italian courses at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, Drexel University, and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She is currently a lecturer in Italian at the University of Pennsylvania. 

As a language instructor, Alessandra enjoys taking her students on an adventurous journey of discovery that expands the boundaries of the world around them. She strongly believes in the connective power of languages, and her ultimate goal is to help students embrace new cultural perspectives, see the world through new lenses, and develop openness to new ideas and ways of thinking.
