The Fort Plain Museum has awarded Travis Glasson, associate professor and chair of the History Department, with the James Kirby Martin Book Prize for his book Nobody Men: Neutrality, Loyalties, and Family in the American Revolution.

The award, named for late historian and University of Houston professor James Kirby Martin, annually recognizes the best book of the year on the history of the American Revolution. The winner is selected by a five-person panel of nationally-recognized historians of the American Revolutionary era.
