Dr. Cheryl Irons (L) and Dr. Douglas Green (R)
As we celebrate the retirement of Dr. Cheryl Irons, we extend our sincere gratitude for her years of dedicated service to Temple University's Department of Criminal Justice. Throughout her career, Dr. Irons has been a deeply valued instructional faculty member, mentoring countless students and leading our internship program as Internship Coordinator. Through her stewardship, she bridged classroom learning with meaningful professional experiences across a wide range of criminal justice agencies. We thank Cheryl for her unwavering commitment to our students and department, and we wish her all the best in a well-deserved retirement.
As we begin this next chapter, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Douglas Green as our new Internship Coordinator. Dr. Green joined Temple's faculty following a distinguished 28-year career as a federal agent and digital forensic examiner with Homeland Security Investigations. His extensive background in law enforcement, cybercrime and digital forensics—combined with his dedication to student success—makes him uniquely qualified to lead the program. We look forward to the insights, mentorship and professional opportunities he will bring to our students.
Please join us in thanking Cheryl for her outstanding service and welcoming Doug to his new role!
