Biography

Prof. Sanfelice joined the Economics Department at Temple University in Fall 2019. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned an M.A. in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in 2010 and a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from the University of São Paulo in 2008. Her professional experience includes roles at the World Bank as a junior professional associate and at the City of São Paulo’s Education Department as a technical advisor. Her research interests lie in applied microeconomics, with a focus on topics in public and urban economics.
