Mery Soto-Herner, a native Spanish speaker from Peru, holds an MBA and a BA in Spanish from Millersville University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics from San Marcos University in Lima, Peru. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Temple University.
Passionate about storytelling, Mery’s research focuses on preserving the oral traditions of Peru’s indigenous Quechua-speaking communities, documenting the stories passed down by her parents for future generations. She is fluent in Quechua, Spanish, English, and French.
