I am a PhD candidate in the philosophy department at Temple University, with a graduate certificate in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. I specialize in philosophy of science (including philosophy of medicine and psychiatry) and epistemology (especially social, feminist, and virtue epistemologies). My dissertation explores the normative aspects of scientific ignorance and their implications for the regulation of potentially harmful research, science communication, and participatory research involving public stakeholders. In the philosophy department, I teach courses in environmental ethics, critical thinking, feminist philosophy, and philosophy of race.
