Jake La Fronz is a third-year PhD student in History at Temple. His research focuses  on twentieth-century queer and trans history, exploring topics such as bar raids, female impersonation, and the broader social and cultural shifts within LGBTQ+ communities. Geographically, his work engages with archives from San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Long Island, London, and Italy, which reflects his wide-ranging interest in the intersections of place, identity, and resistance in the United States but also the world.
