Delila Matara is a PhD candidate in English at Temple University. Her research interests include women’s literature and transnational literature, with a particular focus on how literature explores gender, culture, and identity across national and cultural boundaries. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English and master’s degree in Education from Temple University and holds a certificate in ESL instruction. She has been teaching English and literature for the past four years, with additional experience teaching English as a second language. Her teaching interests include composition, literature, creative writing, and ESL education.
