My research interests include early modern philosophy, contemporary philosophy of mind, and metaphysics.  My dissertation concerns Lady Margaret Cavendish’s natural philosophy, specifically how to understand her metaphysics and epistemology.  Currently I am working on projects concerning self-knowledge in Cavendish’s system, the role of light in her metaphysics, and how to understand her theory of self-love.
