I am a PhD student in the Department of Philosophy at Temple University.
My research focuses on the philosophy of race in Mexico, the notion of mestizaje as the ideology upon which the nation-state is based, structural racism, and its intersections with gender violence and epistemic injustice.
I am a recipient of the University Fellowship from Temple University and a Fulbright-García Robles scholar from the governments of Mexico and the United States.
Before coming to Temple, I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, with my dissertation, ‘Imágenes de Control e Injusticia Testimonial.
