Biography

Katie Lee received her Ed. D and M. Ed in Curriculum, Instruction and Technology in Education from Temple University.  Being a native speaker of Korean and specializing in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language), her professional interests include Applied linguistics and language pedagogy, sociolinguistics, cross-cultural communication, language proficiency assessment and second language writing in both Korean and English. She has extensive teaching experience in the United States as well as in South Korea. She has taught all levels of Korean at several institutions in the United States. In addition, she taught ESL sections of college composition classes at Temple University. She also involved in training programs for Korean ESL teachers in South Korea and  ESL teachers in the United States.
