Juanita Mirekuaa Sefa is currently pursuing her PhD at Temple University with a master's degree in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University. She previously served as a Case Manager at The Labyrinth House (YWCA) and was a board member of the McLean County Reentry Council. Juanita's research interests include juvenile delinquency, immigration studies, comparative criminology, and quantitative analysis. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and watching movies.
