Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement

The Center for Academic Advising and the Joyce K. Salzberg Center for Professional Development’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) committee strives to promote an actively safe and open environment for all employees and students. We serve as a resource for employees who have experienced DEI issues and need guidance to work toward resolutions. We embrace individuality in all its forms and expressions, and provide training opportunities to help employees become aware of their unconscious biases and additional barriers to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We understand that to successfully serve our diverse student population, we must first recognize, respect, value and appreciate the differences among us.
