Dr. Monaco received her Ph.D. from Temple University in the department of Religion. Her area of study was Religion and Society. She also has her Masters in Religious Studies from Temple, a Masters in Theology from LaSalle University, and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Teaching in the Intellectual Heritage Program since 2005, she has also in the past taught a wide variety of courses in Religion, Sociology, Ethics, and Gender Studies. She is a proud mother of six children, and her passions include music and musical theater.
