I obtained a Bachelor and Master of Education in English and Spanish at the Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg, Austria. During my studies in Salzburg, I was able to teach various age levels and at different school types, as well as to work as teaching assistant at the university. Afterwards, I moved to Athens, Ohio, where I obtained a Master of Arts in Spanish and worked as teaching assistant for Spanish and German at Ohio University. After another year at Ohio University as adjunct professor, where I got the chance to be actively involved in the department and to work closely with other faculty members, I was eager to continue my education. I started the PhD program at Temple University in August 2024.
My research interests are broad and diverse; I explore various areas of Spanish applied linguistics and sociolinguistics. I am currently working on different collaborative research projects within the department and together with Salzburg University.
