The Public Policy Lab (PPL) is pleased to welcome Dr. Karissa Pelletier as a post-doctoral fellow.
Dr. Pelletier will be working with Dr. Caterina Roman, Professor of Criminal Justice and PPL Faculty Affiliate, on a range of projects related to gun violence reduction. In conjunction with PPL, they also will develop and produce a series of briefs on the root causes of community violence.
Dr. Pelletier arrives at the College of Liberal Arts at Temple University having recently completed a fellowship at the Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention and the Firearm Safety Among Children and Teens (FACTS) Consortium in the University of Michigan's School of Public Health. She received her Ph.D. at Arizona State University where her dissertation was titled An Examination into the Covariates Surrounding Children and Teen Firearm Homicide Victimization.
