Olivia Beggins is a fourth year Ph.D. student in Spanish Applied Linguistics. She graduated with an M.A. in Spanish from St. John’s University. Her areas of interest in research include the role of identity in second language acquisition, qualitative methods in Applied Linguistics, and sociocultural theory.
