Biography
Lina holds a B. A. in Humanities and Spanish from the University of Antioquia (Colombia) and a Master’s degree in Spanish from Temple University. Lina has taught different courses at the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. She has also worked as an editor and proofreader. Currently she is an adjunct instructor and ABD PhD candidate in Spanish at Temple University. Her research is focused on 19th and early 20th Century Latin American literature, specifically fantastic literature written by women.
Research Interests: Latin American Studies, Feminism and Queer Studies, 19th and 20th Century Latin American Literature, and Latin American Fantastic Literature.
