I am a PhD candidate focusing on topics including US foreign policy, inter-American relations, labor diplomacy, the Cold War, international development, and academic imperialism. After receiving my undergraduate degree in secondary education from DePaul University, I taught high school math at Pedro Albizu Campos Puerto Rican High School in Chicago, Illinois. Later, I lived, worked, and traveled in Chile, Peru, and Argentina. After returning stateside, I went back to DePaul to receive my master's in History and came to Temple for my doctorate.
