Biography
Maggie Beeler received her PhD in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology from Bryn Mawr College, and earlier a BA in Classics and MA in Religious Studies from New York University. Maggie has supervised on archaeological excavations at several sites in Greece and the United Arab Emirates, and was a member of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens in 2013-14. Her research centers broadly on the role of material culture in identity formation and social change.
