Laura received BAs in Studio Art and Art History with a minor in Public History at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where she graduated summa cum laude. She undertook her MA in War, Media and Society at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England. So far, she has presented research at the British Commission for Military History's New Researchers Conference both in 2018 and 2019, the Creating Connections Consortium in 2018, and the Intercollegiate Art History Symposium in 2019. Her research focuses on art as a primary historical source for understanding the interstices between conflict-based trauma and identity.
