Elijah Bueno earned his B.A. degree in Criminology, Law, & Society from University of California. He completed a multi-year long data analysis of California officer involved shootings and socioeconomic status followed by the Criminology master's degree program at California State Long Beach, working with efforts to evaluate the California pilot of Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD). He presented at the American Society of Criminology convention in 2018 and interests are in policing, procedural justice, racial inequality, and the connection between socioeconomic status and policing methods.
