The College of Liberal Arts’ Economics Department strives to contribute an economical solution to contemporary social problems. Students pursue new knowledge in the field through both undergraduate and graduate programs that cultivate a robust learning environment, while faculty members are empowered to conduct thought-provoking research. Finally, graduates leave Temple with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in public and private sector economics jobs. Before they can leave their mark on the world, however, they leave their mark here, and Temple leaves its mark on them. Read the stories of our Economics students, alumni and faculty members below and please contact us if you have a story of your own you think we should tell.
