Placement Record
Temple University’s Department of Philosophy provides extensive placement support to its graduate students and places most of them into research or teaching positions in philosophy. Graduate students work closely with their advisors, the Director of Graduate Studies, and the Placement Director to prepare for the academic job market. The Placement Director runs job market workshops every year, which all graduate students are encouraged to attend, and supports candidates who are on the job market. Our recent Ph.D.s, going back to 2014, are listed below with their current position, initial job placement after Temple, and dissertation title and advisor. Names include links to academic websites whenever available. To make updates, please email our current Placement Director, Prof. Eugene Chislenko, at [click-for-email].
