Asian Studies - Minor
The Asian studies minor will teach you the broad foundations of at least one major Asian culture.
Students pursing a minor in Asian Studies will learn about the broad foundations of at least one major Asian culture. This may also take part in critical discourse regarding politics, history, society, art, religion, philosophy and literature. This program is a useful credential for majors in education, journalism and communication, social administration, health science, social science, humanities, history, pre-law studies and business fields.
The Asian studies minor requires a minimum of 18 credits, but may require more if the language requirement is not satisfied by examination of oral/aural and reading skills in any Asian language approved by the Asian studies head advisor.
