Apply for your degree
If you are planning to graduate in August 2017, you must apply for graduation through Self Service Banner. Please follow the steps below:
1. Log into TUportal
2. Click on Student Tools near the top of the page
3. Navigate to the "Records" channel, normally located on the right side of the page under the "Registration" channel
4. Click on the Apply to Graduate button and a ceremony
To be eligible for Latin Honors, at least 60 credits must be completed at Temple University and the final cumulative GPA must meet the qualifying standards. The qualifying cumulative GPA standards for CLA students graduating in July 2016, December 2016, and May 2017 are as follows:
Summa Cum Laude = at least a 3.94 cumulative GPA
Magna Cum Laude = at least a 3.84 cumulative GPA
Cum Laude = at least a 3.68 cumulative GPA

If you are academically cleared and do not have holds on your student record, the diploma will be mailed to the address you list on your graduation application approximately eight weeks after your degree is awarded. If you do not receive your diploma after such time, please email email@example.com.
Upon review of your academic history, if it is determined that you have NOT met all necessary degree requirements, you will be notified by academic advisor through your Temple email account.
