Hayley is a PhD student originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Hayley received her Bachelor of Arts degreesĀ in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Temple University in 2016 and is a graduate of the Criminal Justice Department's Accelerated Masters Program. Hayley's primary research interests include communities and crime, the geographic context of reentry, and the evolving public health role of police.

Throughout her graduate and undergraduate studies at Temple University, Hayley has worked on several reentry-related research projects, including her own qualitative research project that examined gentrification in Philadelphia and its effects on the reentry processes of the city's residents, funded by the CARAS grant. Hayley has also worked with Dr. Groff and Dr. Wood on their research involving body-worn cameras and police technology. Hayley is currently working with Dr. Ratcliffe to evaluate an overdose rapid response intervention in the Kensington Transit Corridor of Philadelphia.
