Robert P. Liversidge, III Memorial Award

This award is given to an English major at any level who demonstrates understanding of the importance of the humanities by taking criticism and analysis seriously and thinking through the consequences of ideas.  The recipient should also be generous to other students and an excellent writer. A book and certificate will be given to the student who best meets the award criteria.  Faculty members nominate candidates and the winner is chosen by the English department Undergraduate Committee. The award book will be chosen by the nominating professor to reflect the student’s interests.
