Dr. Alfred M. Sellers Veterans Scholarship

Established in 2013 in memory of Dr. Alfred Sellers, a decorated Army Veteran of WWII and the Battle of the Bulge, whose studies at Temple were disrupted by the war. Dr. Sellers served with a combat engineering unit before becoming a medical corpsman in the Army’s 4th Armored Division where he eventually earned a bronze star for valor. This scholarship is awarded to support veterans who are returning to the College of Liberal Arts to pursue their undergraduate degrees.
