Temple University’s College of Liberal Arts prepares students to become innovators in all fields, across all industries. We are civic-minded, globally conscious creative thinkers, doers and risk-takers. We are home to more than 5,500 students across 28 departments and programs that offer a focused liberal arts college experience within a premier urban, research university.
Last year was a big year for the College of Liberal Arts! New academic programs, generous alumni donations and a visit from a renowned author drawing a historic crowd are just a few of the highlights. The College welcomed our biggest incoming class in five years while also increasing student credit hours. Meanwhile, Dean Richard Deeg led a renewed focus on building stronger student, faculty and alumni identifies. And by setting a goal of doubling completed internships by 2020, we began better preparing our students for post-graduation success. Read our annual report for more on how the College spent last year pivoting towards this exciting future.
