Women's Studies - BA

Our bachelor’s degree program examines women, gender and sexuality in the U.S. and around the world. Students will explore how these subjects relate to other social categories such as race, class, disability, nationality and ethnicity. You will learn to apply the methods and theories of social scientists, historians, philosophers and literary critics to the study of women's experiences, gender and sexual identities. Our students explore a growing body of feminist theories that revise our understanding of gender, society and culture. This program will help students transform traditional fields of study utilizing new methodologies, data, theories and frameworks developed by feminist scholars.
